One of the things about the brain is that it can relax now easily, and I wonder if you're already started to notice the increasing sense of comfort spreading through yourself. A person doesn't have to, [name], feel completely restful now, before he enters into a sense of peace.... and notice the feeling you are having now....

Here's my attempt:

How would it feel if you could use language to increase your influence? You may become increasingly successful easily when you become more aware then you will be able to feel more confident now, wouldn't you.

[Haha... ok ok.. I threw in a structural ambiguity, and a tag question. Doesn't hurt to do abit more rite. Heeee.... now your turn!]

Adjectives. Use'em

Was wondering what else I could share on this blog... then I decided to use touch on some really basic, but really useful stuff. This wonderful group of words in the english language called "Adjectives".

It's probably not new to most people who study communications and NLP, but often, in our everyday lives, we don't gravitate towards using it. I suppose in singapore, one reason is that, people just want to the point stuff. Ah... but if you are convincing someone, or trying to create certain motivations... adjectives do make a difference.

Lets see... as an example,

"When you look at our mp3 player, you can see that we have included all the features that would cater to your listening pleasure."

And to spice it up alittle bit...

"When you look at our beautiful mp3 player, you can see that we have included all the wonderful features that would cater to all your listening pleasures."

Hmm... still abit lacking? How about using the words listed in the earlier posts?

"When you look at our beautiful mp3 player now, you can see that we have included all the wonderful features that would cater to all your listening pleasures, causing you to experience portable music with ease beyond your current convenience. When you are considering the price, Stop, and start ask yourself how wonderful you would be feeling when you are holding one in your hands, now, it feels good, doesn't it."


As you look and the three sentances and say them to yourself, you will began to see the difference between them... easily. Hadn't you. :)

The above link is only for people who are interested in improving their voice tone and voice quality which causes them to increase in unlimited influence by expanding beyond their currently flexibility. You will naturally find yourself becoming a better commumnicator as you use various voice inflections easily. Stop hesitating, and start to realise how you can experience extreme excitment instantly now, couldn't you.


They should pay me to write commercials for them... hahahahaah, just practicing the words in the previous posts. Haha... any comments? Suggestions? Did you feel compelled to purchase the item above?

That being said, I think voice tones and voice inflections are important things to know and learn. Many NLPers learn techniques and theories, but not many when delivering across, I believe, could bring it across in a manner where it could be the most effective.

Sometimes I believe, we should all go for abit of voice training if possible.... not just so we have a wonderful voice for singing (thought it would be good!!), but a pleasent voice goes a long way in getting people to listen to you don't you think.

Power Words

Was listening to some CDs, and here’s the section dealing with language patterns. Here are some words that makes statements more influential in a way. Here they are, try to use them 1 set at a time, then combine them.

1) easily, naturally, unlimited
2) aware, realize, experience
3) among, beyond, expand
4) [any positive feel you want induced] delight, happiness, excitement, etc.
5) Causes, now, instantly
6) Stop, start

Haha…. As you practice using these words, you can easily improve yourself by finding unlimited ways to increase your influence. When you become aware of your increased skill, you will naturally experience a feeling of excitement, which will cause you to move beyond your current level of skill and instantly bring you closer to your goals.

Another blog is born! This new blog will contain my journey in NLP and stuff like that. Its kinda a sub-blog since not everyone will be interested in NLP. And it also forms a nice concise area where one can come and take alook at some new learning, exercises, or resources.

I will touch on NLP techniques, presuppositions, language patterns, communication skills etc etc as and when I come across something.
